School Federation Proposal

By | School News | No Comments

The Governing Bodies of Golden Flatts Primary School and Lynnfield Primary School are jointly committed to ensuring a first class education for all children in their communities. The two schools have been working closely together over the last academic year. We feel that continuing to work in partnership will bring huge benefits to both of school communities. Due to this the Governing Bodies have made the decision to consult with stakeholders on  forming a hard federation between the two schools. Please see below for a copy of the letter sent to parents about the consultation and a copy of the full consultation document. The consultation document sets out how you can become involved in the consultation process. If you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting me.

We are delighted to be able to let you know school will be open as normal tomorrow and we look forward to welcoming the children back. Based on the current travel information we have about the route to Newcastle the year 2 trip will go ahead as planned, however, we will update our risk assessment first thing tomorrow morning to take into account the latest updates.

We will write out to parents on Monday with the re-arranged date for World Book day. We have really appreciated your support and  patience over the last five days and look forward to school  getting back to normal.
