At Lynnfield Primary School we appreciate the impact these uncertain times will have on your child’s English education and aim to provide quality-learning opportunities for children whilst school closures are in place.  Here you will find home learning tasks, split into appropriate year groups.

 Some of these home learning tasks will be updated weekly for children and if you have any problems please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Talk for Writing
Talk for Writing home learning packs have been designed to inspire and support your child to develop skills and confidence in speaking, speaking, reading and writing.

Active Learn
Each teacher (years 1-6) has allocated reading books and/or spelling, grammar or punctuation activities for your child to do. Once logged in go to ‘my stuff’ and you can complete the allocated activity set. Teachers will update these on a weekly basis if your child has completed the activity.

Letterjoin 
Letterjoin is the scheme we use to teach all year groups from nursery to year 6 handwriting. It offers a series of worksheets and activities that are not only great for improving handwriting but perfect revision for spelling, punctuation and grammar.
